Hello Titan Community!
East Tech wanted to let you know that we are thinking of all of our students and Titan families as we go through these tough times. We also want to make sure that our students continue to have access to learning opportunities during this closure as many students and their parents have been asking about what we as a school will be doing to continue the educational opportunities the students are used to participating in on a daily basis.
We are still waiting for specific directions from the state and district and hope to have more information by the end of the week. At this time we have asked teachers to provide our students with extended learning opportunities that they can work on to build skills and keep a sense of normalcy and consistency. It also allows us as a school to stay connected with our students. At this time there will not be more than two assignments/activities a week. The assignments will not require resources outside of what the internet can provide and will not need to be printed. Everything should be posted in Google Classroom or Canvas depending on which platform the teacher has previously used with students. It is important for students to check Google Classroom and email as frequently as possible.
We do not want any student to panic or stress over accessing their schoolwork at this time. But these opportunities will help keep you on track and engaged in your learning as we wait for further clarification on how to proceed.
We also want you to know that our counselors and social worker are still available for all students. Please reach out through our school website with a counselor request or send them an email directly. Please reach out and let us know if there is anything that you need.
